Sheree Stomberg is the Global Head of CitiBank’s Shared Services and the Citi Service Center Network, which serves more than 100,000 of Citi’s employees in 90 countries. She is also a member of Citi’s Operations and Technology Operating Committee. Ms. Stomberg discusses what she has learned over the past 20 years about solutions to world hunger and about the role of the Transcendental Meditation technique in helping individuals and the world.

Since 2003, Ms. Stomberg has been an investor in The Hunger Project, an organization committed to a sustainable solution to the problem of world hunger. She has served on the Global Board of Directors since 2008 and has chaired the Board since October 2019. During a Hunger Project trip to Africa, she learned about the TM technique and its potential for society from Joaquim Chissano, a fellow board member and former President of Mozambique.

Throughout her career, Ms. Stomberg has also been a strong voice for diversity and inclusion. She co-founded, sponsored, or chaired three of Citi’s Women’s Councils, which have facilitated the advancement of women to management positions in banking.
