Kevin Dunn, J.D., is one of the nation’s most experienced prosecutors of domestic violence crimes, having been involved in more than 30,000 cases. He has served as a Senior Assistant State’s Attorney with the State of Connecticut, Division of Criminal Justice, for more than 25 years.
In 1996, Dunn was the first prosecutor in Connecticut to be assigned to develop a dedicated court for victims of domestic violence. Currently, he is the senior prosecutor to Bridgeport, Connecticut’s nationally recognized Domestic Violence Docket. He is also responsible for providing statewide and national technical assistance on “best practice approaches” to prosecuting cases of domestic violence.
Dunn discusses the importance of the Transcendental Meditation technique for those who work in criminal justice and for anyone who is dedicated to maintaining “a cool head and a warm heart” when dealing with the intense stress of modern life.
Mario Orsatti, the host of TM Talks and Executive Director of the Center for Health and Wellness, a division of the David Lynch Foundation, interviewed Dunn on January 24, 2021.
