Richard LaMarita has had a diverse culinary career. He has been a chef instructor for more than 25 years at the world-renowned plant-based program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City. He also teaches in the Health Supportive Culinary Arts Program at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York.
Mr. LaMarita has worked with numerous well-known New York City chefs, including Floyd Cardoz, Dan Kluger, and Ben Pollinger. He currently combines his teaching career with being a sought-after private chef and private instructor, working for many notable individuals and families in Manhattan and the Hamptons. His specialties, along with vegetarian and vegan cooking, are Indian, Italian, and Ayurvedic cuisines.
