Dr. Krista Noble is a professor at Maharishi International University (MIU), where she earned her Ph.D. in Maharishi Vedic Science and now teaches Consciousness and Human Potential. In her book, One with the Force: 18 Universal Truths in Star Wars (Bloomsbury, 2024), Dr. Noble discusses the relationship between “the Force” in these films and the experience of pure consciousness during TM practice. She shows that Star Wars contains parallels to worldwide religions and philosophies—from Christianity to Buddhism, and from Native American teachings to the Vedic knowledge of ancient India.

“If you watched the Star Wars movies with a feeling in your bones that you were seeing something unfold that was not merely the product of modern creative storytellers but something ancient and powerful, this book will tell you why.” —Joe Holland, Instructor of Consciousness & Human Potential, MIU
