I am a 65-year-old retired postal worker and have also been ordained as a Nazarene Rabbi. I have studied the Scriptures for over 28 years and also have taught Kabbalah.

Since I was a teen, I have wanted to learn the Transcendental Meditation® (TM®) technique and even had a desire to attend Maharishi International University (MIU). I had purchased one of Maharishi’s books but did not understand it at the time. Life situations prevented me from fulfilling my dream of learning TM until now.

Searching for Oneness

I had studied many Oneness teachers and even tried various forms of meditation such as mindfulness and visualization. I found most of them required one to concentrate, spend hours in meditation, and sit and breathe in a certain manner. It would also take years to get the desired results.

These approaches also seemed to say that in order for a person to reach a state of oneness with higher states of consciousness, it might take a lifetime of practice or a life of being a monk. The goal seemed impossible to reach, and I certainly did not have that much time to spend in meditation.

Dreams Do Come True

I have found that TM offers what I wanted, such as knowing myself and “God,” without requiring me to believe anything, changing my lifestyle, or spending hours in meditation. It is easy, anyone can do it, and it only requires 20 minutes, twice a day.

I had an excellent, knowledgeable, certified TM teacher who has practiced TM for 50 years. It is as easy and effortless as promised.

I noticed the benefits of TM right away. After just a few days of practicing TM, I noticed I was sleeping better, gaining greater insight into my studies, and felt calmer, less anxious, and more cheerful. I was filled with love for life, and just more relaxed.

Why didn’t I do this 20 years ago?

I have found out that dreams do come true. You are never too old to learn TM and reap the benefits of the practice.
