Multiple GRAMMY winner Sharon Isbin has been called “the preeminent guitarist of our time.” She has made over 30 best-selling recordings; been a soloist with 200 orchestras; and has performed in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-winning The Departed, in the White House by invitation of President Barack Obama, and in the world’s finest halls. The award-winning documentary Sharon Isbin: Troubadour has been seen by millions on PBS and abroad, and she was recently named Musical America Worldwide’s 2020 Instrumentalist of the Year.
A TM practitioner since age 17, she has performed in numerous TM benefits, including with Sting at Carnegie Hall. She is the founding director of The Juilliard School guitar department and author of The Classical Guitar Answer Book. Her new albums Strings for Peace and Affinity will be released in May.
