Jay Banerjee, president and CEO of ImmersiveTouch, based in Chicago, Illinois, discusses the role of developing consciousness in managing a quickly growing high-tech company. He also assesses the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality in medical school training and their use by surgeons to improve outcomes in a wide variety of surgical procedures.

Mr. Banerjee’s company delivers cutting-edge virtual reality software that provides a real-time, hands-on surgical planning experience, using patient-specific imaging. It allows users to visualize and interactively plan surgeries using Apple Vision Pro. Prior to ImmersiveTouch, he worked as a project manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and as a consultant at Illinois Business Consulting.

Mr. Banerjee received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, and Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his Master of Arts in Consciousness and Human Potential from Maharishi International University.
