Mr. Cates is the president of Referral Coach International and founder of The Referral Coach Academy. He served on the Board of Directors for the National Speakers Association for eight years. He is also a founding expert of Mentor U Connect, a prestigious online mentoring and training company.
In 2010, Mr. Cates was inducted into the Professional Speakers Hall of Fame. This award of has been given to fewer than 150 speakers worldwide since 1977. In the past 30 years, Mr. Cates has spoken on five continents, including keynote addresses for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, an independent association of the world’s leading financial services professionals from more than 700 companies in 80 nations. His program for developing business referrals has helped more than 250,000 business professionals and over 20,000 business owners.
