Anthony Brunelli is a recognized leader of the Photorealism movement in the arts. He started his career with paintings of the cityscapes in the small satellite cities of northern New York State. He then extended his panoramic paintings to cities in Europe and Asia, including Paris, Florence, Prague, Zurich, and Hanoi.
For Brunelli, the desire to constantly push the limits of Photorealism has been the guiding principle of his 30-year career. He’s considered a genius of the panoramic view, and his large, hyperrealistic paintings have been acquired by many private and public collections and are regularly exhibited around the world.
Brunelli discusses the evolution of his career as an artist, as well as the impact of his Transcendental Meditation practice on his professional and personal life.
Mario Orsatti, the host of TM Talks and Executive Director of the Center for Health and Wellness, a division of the David Lynch Foundation, interviewed Brunelli on November 29, 2020.
