Bob Roth, CEO of the David Lynch Foundation, and Mario Orsatti, co-host of TM Talks, comment on several videos of TM Founder Maharishi Mahesh Yogi discussing the relationship between the Transcendental Meditation technique and the practice of religion. In these historic recordings, Maharishi explains how daily TM practice enlivens pure consciousness, enabling TM practitioners to spontaneously grow in love and ultimately lead a life in total harmony with all the laws of nature.
Maharishi introduced the Transcendental Meditation program worldwide beginning in 1959. Since then, more than 10 million people of all ages, cultures, and religions have learned the TM technique. Maharishi also inspired a revolution in the scientific study of higher states of consciousness. More than 700 published studies over the past 50 years have demonstrated the far-reaching benefits of the TM technique and its advanced programs in all areas of life—better health and longer life, greater intelligence and creativity, more fulfilling relationships and work success, reduced societal stress, and effortless creation of peace.
In 1963, Maharishi recorded the book Science of Being and Art of Living, which was transcribed and published in 15 languages. His second book, published in 1967, was Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the Bhagavad-Gita: A New Translation and Commentary. He wrote many more books and circled the world numerous times, speaking with world leaders and lecturing widely.
Mr. Orsatti, Senior Teacher of the DLF Center for Health and Wellness, spoke with Mr. Roth on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023.
