Dr. Steinbaum is a leading cardiologist, author, and women’s health advocate, specializing in prevention. She is the author of Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum’s Heart Book: Every Woman’s Guide to a Heart‑Healthy Life.

Dr. Steinbaum has been the Director of Women’s Cardiovascular Prevention, Health, and Wellness at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, and the Director of Women and Heart Disease at Lenox Hill Hospital. She has appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America and on NBC’s The Today Show, as well as in publications like Fitness, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Family Circle.

She is also a national spokesperson for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign and is on the AHA’s board in New York City. She is an outspoken advocate of the Transcendental Meditation program for health and well‑being.
