My TM practice is going wonderfully, and it has really opened up so many opportunities for me that just never seemed possible!
After moving home to Vermont from 12 years working in the entertainment business, I was burned out. I did not know what my next step would be, and I feared the drive and ambition I once had was gone for good.
After researching meditation, I came across Transcendental Meditation® and was pleased to learn of a center here in Vermont. Just two weeks later, I was on my way!
New Doors Opening
Finally, doors began opening as I got into my TM practice. My ambition and drive were back, but in a more relaxed and confident way. On my terms, so to speak. This month, I am beginning a position at our local hospital as a coordinator for a substance abuse grant for youth, less than a mile from the childhood home I now reside in as an adult.
My Masters in Organizational Leadership is in full swing, and I feel totally immersed in my studies and excited about what I am learning.
I even started a theatrical academy with my childhood mentor and our local arts center! That’s not to mention all the boards and clubs I am in, the self-help I am still learning about in my own time, and all the reading and writing I enjoy doing for pleasure.

“How Do You Do It All?”
People keep remarking that they don’t know how I do it all. When I used to live in NYC and worked overlooking the bright lights of Times Square, I did a lot as well, and it was so stressful and almost unfulfilling because of that. Now I can accomplish more, and I sleep well at the end of the day. Worries don’t mean the same thing that they meant before. I can truly handle it all, knowing that my TM practice is there for me morning and night.
I am in an excellent place, welcoming my 30s. I cannot wait to continue working with the TM Center over the coming years. TM has truly changed my life.
