Nancy H. Rothstein, a leading sleep expert known as The Sleep Ambassador®, talks about the latest research suggesting how important sleep is for the well-being of our body and mind, and for helping us as Meditators to maximize our daily TM practice.
Rothstein is the Director of Sleep Health at Resonea, a company that develops medical-quality sleep health and wellness tools, and she also consults and lectures to Fortune 500 companies, universities, the travel industry, and numerous organizations to empower people to optimize their sleep and live at their best. Her message for corporate leadership is that better sleep leads to a better return on investment (ROI).
She inspires a new respect for sleep and its vast impact on all aspects of work, life, and overall health. Among numerous board and advisory positions, she has served as a member of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sleep Disorders Research Advisory Board, an appointment recognizing her expertise in the field and her role as a public and patient advocate. She also serves on the steering committee for MyApnea.org.
Inspired by personal experience, Rothstein authored My Daddy Snores, a children’s book published by Scholastic Inc., which has sold over 400,000 copies. She has been featured in the New York Times, Huffington Post, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Marie Claire, Self, Fast Company, Thrive Global, The Economist, and on CNN, among many other media outlets.
