Michael J. Fox, Arianna Huffington, and the creators of the hit TV show Billions, Brian Koppelman and David Levien, will headline the David Lynch Foundation’s 2016 benefit dinner on November 16 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The proceeds of the evening will help to fund a research study on the impact of the Transcendental Meditation® (TM) technique on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among veterans and their families.
Previous pilot studies have found a 50 percent reduction in the symptoms of PTSD among meditating vets. The study will be instrumental in securing government funding from the Veterans Administration so that the hundreds of thousands of veterans living with PTSD can learn TM without charge.
