Stephen Franze—a sports psychologist, mental performance and ice hockey coach, and former physical trainer—discusses his work with athletes, focusing on how they can recognize and overcome common mental and emotional challenges. Stephen Franze holds a master’s degree in exercise science with a concentration in sports psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. His work centers on helping athletes cultivate a deep, self-motivated passion for learning and performance. He collaborates closely with youth, high school, and college athletes—as well as their parents and coaches—to build trust, enhance communication, and support each athlete’s unique psychological and emotional needs.
