Professor Srinivas Reddy, a scholar and musician, talks about the importance of meditation and music in our lives. He is currently Visiting Assistant Professor of Religious Studies and Contemplative Studies at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Professor Reddy studied classical South Asian languages and literature at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a teaching position in South and Southeast Asian Studies at India Institute of Technology in Gujarat, India. In addition to teaching and conducting research, he is also a concert sitarist and performs Indian classical music around the world. His latest book is Raya: Krishnadevaraya of Vijayanagara (2020).
